Job Summary
Electro Physiology Registered Nurse (RN) Seattle, WA. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory. The role is a 30-week contract scheduled for days, requiring clinical expertise in arrhythmia management, cardiac ablation, device management, and patient education to support patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, experience with Cardiac Catheterization procedures including Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, Watchman procedure, Arrhythmia Induction, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, and familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of GLP-1 therapies in atrial fibrillation management, experience in risk factor modification clinics or device clinics, strong patient education skills around lifestyle and medication adherence, and participation in quality improvement initiatives
- Additional Information: The role supports interdisciplinary collaboration, interpretation of cardiac rhythms, patient triage, and education. The facility specializes in heart and vascular care, and EPIC experience is required for charting. Candidate must be willing to work within a general cardiology, interventional, and electrophysiology scope, and adhere to registration and licensing requirements within the state of Washington.
