Travel RN – Quick Highlights
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Education: ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
- License: Current RN license in the state of practice required
- Certification: AHA BLS required
- Additional Certifications: ACLS, NRP or PALS may be required depending on the unit
- Experience: Previous RN experience preferred
- Responsibilities: Patient assessment, care planning, treatment, medication/therapy administration, patient education and documentation
- Floating: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency
- On-Call: May be required during a regularly scheduled shift
- Other: Must follow state Board of Nursing standards, hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
