Job Summary:
The Dialysis Unit Registered Nurse (RN) role is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care within the dialysis environment, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The RN ensures adherence to care plans, promotes patient safety, and supports operational efficiency to meet patient needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (if applicable), and a minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a dialysis unit or with renal care.
- Additional Information: The RN performs initial assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning and patient teaching. Responsible for timely documentation, supervision of ancillary staff, and ensuring safety standards are met throughout all clinical activities. The role includes participation in team-based patient rehabilitation programs and supports a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
