Schedule: 07:00 - 17:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN License; BLS; ACLS; Cardiothoracic surgery experience; high-acuity surgical support; general OR proficiency; circulate across core service lines; EPIC EMR experience; active unrestricted VA or compact license; on-call availability including weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for cardiothoracic surgery patients in a Level-II Trauma Center setting.
- Circulate across core service lines, supporting high-acuity surgeries including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
- Maintain proficiency in EMR documentation utilizing EPIC.
- Participate in on-call shifts including weekday and weekend coverage, responding to urgent surgical needs.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment across multiple OR suites.
