Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must have scrub and circulate experience in the operating room
• Experience in a cardiovascular operating room or cardiac surgery setting required
• Prior travel nurse experience is highly preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly, work collaboratively, and function as part of a core OR team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing support in the cardiovascular operating room
• Scrub and circulate for CVOR procedures and cardiac surgeries
• Assist the surgical team in delivering safe, efficient, high-quality patient care
• Participate in call coverage as assigned
• Float as needed, including to sister campuses when required
• Maintain strong documentation practices in Epic and meet all onboarding requirements prior to the start date
• Work effectively in a culture that values teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism
