CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) with Vascular and Cardiac Experience
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift: 4x10-hour schedule from 06:30 to 17:00.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in vascular and cardiac care, particularly with extensive experience in vascular procedures. This position requires the ability to circulate open heart surgeries and vascular cases, ensuring the highest level of patient care during critical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.
- Circulate procedures such as angiograms, Aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, and open AAA.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CVOR with strong vascular and cardiac background.
- Current RN license required; FL license or compact license preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Patient Care Activities
Working with patients diagnosed with peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, coronary artery disease, valve disease, TAVR, and aortic dissections.
