Job Description:

The RN in the CVOR unit will be responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position requires mandatory call, working with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient operations in the cardiovascular operating room.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Foley catheter insertion as required.
• Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
• Maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Assist in various procedures including open heart, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgeries.

Requirements:

• Active RN license to submit for consideration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous experience in CVOR or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to work mandatory call shifts, including 1-2 nights per week and possible weekend call.
