Job Description:
The RN in the CVOR unit will be responsible for providing perioperative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures, including assisting in open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic surgeries. Must have skills in open heart or endovascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the CVOR during surgical procedures.
- Scrub in to hold the heart and help close the chest as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including one weekday per week and one weekend per month.
Requirements:
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience with open heart or endovascular surgeries necessary.
- RN License to submit.
