Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Nurse in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing specialized cardiac surgical care within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units and facilities to meet operational needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, current BLS certification, Oregon state license or valid compact license in hand at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room open heart procedures, familiarity with Epic charting system, community hospital experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Successful candidates will be expected to work at multiple facilities within the Portland area, with floating to sister facilities as needed. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays and request all RTO or scheduling needs upfront. References covering 1 year are required. No direct facility contact is permitted unless for scheduled interviews.
