CVICU RN - DAYS
Will take 1st time traveler that has extensive experience (2+ years of CVICU/open heart experience)
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 3, 12Hr 07:30 - 20:00
License/certs: RN MD state license, ACLS, BLS

Ratio: 1:2
Patient Age Range: Adults - Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac Surgery- CABG, valve, cabg/valve, CAD- STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock, Vascular- peripheral bypasses, EVAR, Thoracic- VATS
Special Procedures/Unit Details: immediate post-op care for cardiac surgery patients; 1:1 for first 12 hours, vent management w/resp therapy, Flo Trac, CRRT, IABP, Impella, Groin/radial artery management (fem stop, TR bands)
Special Equipment: immediate post-op care for cardiac surgery patients; 1:1 for first 12 hours. The float structure is such that agency nurses float to IMC which is a 1:3 ratio
Scrub Color: navy preferred
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Weekends: every other weekend required
Floating: PRN to IMC. Float required within the specialty, other units and sister SRH facilities within scope
On-call: not required
