**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular ICU!** **Job Description:** - Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to make a significant impact in patient care? - Join our dynamic team and be at the forefront of cardiovascular health! **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with comprehensive care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. - Identify patient needs and prioritize care through systematic assessment and planning. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans via thorough assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions that enhance patient recovery. - Manage the care of patients with complex cardiovascular needs. - Document patient care that aligns with established standards and practices. - Advocate for evidence-based practices and innovative care delivery approaches. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU. - Strong background in telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, and vascular stepdown units. - LVAD competency essential. **Float Requirement:** - Flexibility to float to other ICUs as needed. - Experience with balloon pumps, CCRT, ECMO devices, cardiac outputs, SWAN catheters, chest tubes, and post-cardiac surgery patients. - A strong open-heart background is a plus. **Education:** - ASN Required; BSN Preferred. **Required Certifications & Licensure:** - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - BLS-AHA certified. - ACLS-AHA certified. - NIHSS certified. - CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours). - Telemetry certification. **Schedule Notes:** - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts. - Every third weekend required; no holidays or on-call requirement. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
