Travel CVICU RN – Quick Highlights Unit: 28-bed CVICU Patient Population: High-acuity cardiovascular and critical-care patients Experience: Strong CVICU/critical-care competency required Key Experience: Open-heart surgery recovery Heart transplants LVAD/VAD procedures Impella IABP ECMO C-Mag Inotropes and hemodynamic management Invasive lines Continuous dialysis/ultrafiltration License: Ohio RN or Compact license Certifications: AHA BLS & AHA ACLS Education: Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred Environment: Fast-paced, high-acuity CVICU with strong interdisciplinary support Core Skills: Critical thinking, patient/family-centered care, communication, confidentiality and evidence-based practice
