# Join Our Team as a Travel RN - CVICU! **Job Description:** - **Location:** ICU, Salt Lake City, Utah - **Unit Size:** 24 Beds, Staffed by 46 dedicated professionals - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:2 for typical patients - 1:3 for PCU boarders - 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity situations (IABP, CRRT, open heart surgeries) - **Unit Highlights:** - Supportive staffing with 1 CCT/US during day shift if > 10 patients - Utilizing EPIC for seamless documentation - Flexible scheduling options: Choose straight nights or a balanced 50/50 schedule - **Floating Policy:** - Opportunity to float to PCU or assist as a sitter within the hospital - **Candidate Requirements:** - 2 years of ICU experience (1 year considered with strong background) - Cardiac nursing experience - **Skills and Procedures Performed:** - Rapid Sequence Intubations - Central line placements - Proficiency with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, and arterial lines - Additional procedures including bronchoscopy, intubation, and chest tube placement - **Best Personality Fit:** - Outgoing and a true team player - **Required Certifications:** - Current ACLS certification - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue - **Weekend Commitment:** - Minimum of 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
