General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds - 24
· Number of Staff – 46
· Patient Ratios : 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity- IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 CCT/US during day shift if > 10 patients
· Documentation system: EPIC
· Scheduling requirements: Straight nights or 50/50
· Floating policy: PCU or as a sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient
Typical hiring profile
Must have :
· 2 years of ICU experience, will consider 1 year strong experience
Cardiac Nurse experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Rapid Sequence Intubations
· Central line placements
· Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills.
Procedures performed on unit: central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, chest tube placement

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· ACLS

· PCU
Dress Code :
· Scrub Color/Attire - Caribbean Blue
Weekends and On call(if any)
· 3 weekend shifts within a 4 week period
