Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, CVICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a specialized Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Flexible scheduling with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Manageable patient ratios of 1:2 for quality patient care
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- 24-hour orientation with onsite module completion
- Work with diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics in a 16-bed unit
Requirements:
- Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license required prior to start; pending licenses accepted at submittal)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Experience with patient ratio of 1:2
- Proficiency in cardiovascular intensive care skills including arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, post-cardiac surgery care, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
