CVICU RN - Rotating Night/Mids - 36H
2YR experience required; will accept first-time travelers w/ CVICU experience
Shift/Hours: 3x12 Nights 19:00-07:30, with a chance of rotating 11a-11p shifts based on unit needs. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated and any other types of special scheduling requests should be submitted with the RTO at time of application submission.
License/cert requirements: MD RN, BLS, CPI, and ACLS required; NIH, OCN, and TCNN preferred
Weekends: every third weekend required, additional weekend shift coverage can be added based on unit needs.
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating: required to MSICU as needed
On-Call: 24-32 hours required per rotating 6-week schedule
Avg Daily Census: 3-5
Beds on Unit: 6
Ratio: 1:2
Common patient diagnoses: post-op cardiac surgery (CABG, MVR, AVR), cardiac surgery re-admissions/ICU bounce-backs, structural heart-TAVR, mitral clips, pre-op patients on hospital intensivist list, STEMI/NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, Inari procedure
