**Join Our Team as a CVICU RN!** **Job Description:** - Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding CVICU unit! - Support critically ill patients and their families with compassionate care. - Must have training on CVICU devices, specifically for cardiovascular cases. **Unit Details:** - **Location:** San Antonio, TX - **Shift Options:** - 7A - 7:30P - 7P - 7:30A - **Assignment Length:** 13 Weeks - **Weekend Rotation:** Required - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer and monitor hemodynamic monitoring (e.g., swans, art lines). - Manage ventilators and apply strong critical thinking skills in emergency situations. - Collaborate effectively with a dedicated health care team. **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - 2+ years of ICU experience - Active TX RN License (No temporary licenses accepted) - Current ACLS and BLS certifications - NIH Stroke Scale certification - **Preferred Skills:** - Exposure to IABP and CRRT - Experience with Meditech charting/order entry **Unit Specifics:** - Procedures performed on unit: - Post CABG - Post VAD - Post Cath with various cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO) **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Navy scrub top and pant; navy or white scrub jacket - **Nail Policy:** Clean and healthy - **Hair Policy:** Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors - **Tattoos:** Should be covered whenever possible - **Piercings:** Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
