ICU Float Pool RN – Saint Louis, MO
Location: Saint Louis, MO 63131
Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care
Charting: Epic
Position Overview:
- Float across multiple ICUs, including:
- Trauma ICU
- Oncology ICU
- Cardiac / Heart & Vascular ICU
- Neurology ICU
- Medical ICU
- COVID ICU
- If ICU census is low, nurses may float to inpatient floors as staff nurses.
- May also be utilized as a patient sitter when needed.
Ratios:
- ICU: 2:1
- Inpatient floors: Maximum 3:1
Requirements:
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- 1+ year of CVICU experience
- Strong, independent ICU nurse
- Travel experience required
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holiday rotation required
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Preferred Certifications:
- CPI
- OCN
- TNCC
