Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, utilizing telemetry for accurate cardiac rhythm assessment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding to emergency situations promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Current NY State RN License or proof of application for the license.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Ability to independently interpret and manage telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
