Required Skills : 

Interventional RN #1

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 3–5 years of experience in cardiac telemetry monitoring and/or cardiac imaging
• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong IV insertion skills
• Ability to access implanted chest ports
• Conduct comprehensive pre-procedural assessments, including:
  • Medical history
  • Renal function
  • Cardiac status
  • Contraindications to contrast or medications
• Administer and titrate medications (e.g., beta-blockers, nitroglycerin) per protocol to achieve optimal heart rate control for image quality
• Establish and maintain appropriate IV access for contrast administration, including use of power injectors
• Apply evidence-based practices to reduce the risk of contrast-related complications, including extravasation and allergic reactions
• Continuously monitor patients before, during, and after CCTA procedures and promptly respond to clinical changes
• Provide patient education and ensure informed consent, including procedure expectations and post-procedure care
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality imaging
• Follow departmental protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission standards
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record, including medications, patient response, and procedural details
• Respond to emergencies, including contrast reactions and acute clinical events, following established protocols and ACLS guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain competency in cardiac imaging and contrast safety practices

Interventional RN #2

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 3–5 years of experience in outpatient radiology or interventional radiology/imaging
• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong IV insertion skills
• Ability to access implanted chest ports

Additional Required Skills

• 2 years of critical care experience — Required
• Active RN License — Required
• BLS certification — Required
• ACLS certification — Required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing — Preferred
