Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Cath Lab, cardiac nursing, or acute care experience strongly preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to function in a high-acuity cardiovascular environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a travel assignment setting

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to promote safe, positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record using Allscripts
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, infection control practices, and procedural protocols
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic cardiac cath lab setting
