Travel Cath Lab RN opportunity in South Charleston, West Virginia: join a busy acute care cardiac catheterization lab for a 13-week assignment with rotating day shifts, EPIC charting, and strong weekly pay.

• Location: South Charleston, WV 25309
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Acute care cardiac catheterization lab
• Schedule: 12-hour rotating day shifts
• Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 - $2,630
• Call Requirement: Rotating call required, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday coverage
• Charting System: EPIC

Cath Lab RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN or related acute care nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, cardiovascular nursing, and pre/post recovery care
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Experience with EPIC and strong clinical documentation skills preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced procedural and cardiac care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Cath Lab pre/post recovery area
• Circulate during cardiac and vascular procedures as a registered nurse on the cardiac care team
• Administer sedation as appropriate and monitor patient status throughout care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in EPIC
• Support a wide variety of procedures, including diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemakers, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, infusaports, and permacaths
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiovascular technologists, and the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
• Participate in call coverage and maintain readiness for urgent patient needs
