Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Santa Rosa, CA 95405
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with three call shifts per two-week period. Call coverage includes every 6th weekend (Friday 4:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM) and weekday call (4:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Assignment duration is 13 weeks.
Highlights:
- Work in a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab with 3 procedure rooms serving adult and geriatric patient populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
- 40 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
- Opportunity to utilize advanced skills including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, TAVR, Impella insertion, and IABP management
- Trauma Level II facility experience with Epic charting system
- One pre-approved time off request available during contract period
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Extensive Cath Lab skills including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, and procedural sedation
- Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- Must be willing to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at an adjusted rate
