Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30), with 8-12 days of call per month. Every 4th weekend required. 13-week assignment.
Highlights:
- Cardiac Cath Lab position at a dedicated heart hospital specializing in cardiovascular care
- Work with a daily census of 20-30 patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- Opportunity to perform both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
- 36-hour orientation provided with onsite module completion
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico RN license or Compact license (pending accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (pending acceptable)
- RCIS certification preferred
- Experience with STEMI and vascular call procedures required
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations
- Skills in procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, and circulating/scrubbing procedures
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
