Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Caseload up to 25 patients. 13-week assignment through December 8, 2026.

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience required
- Acute care experience must be current within the last year
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
- Proficiency in discharge planning, care coordination, DRG, prior authorizations, and appeals/denials
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards
- Willingness to float between units based on departmental needs
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
