Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Case Manager – Torrance, CA 90503
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Torrance, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Every other weekend required with holiday availability. Case load up to 25 patients with a 1:20 ratio.

- Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

- Opportunity to utilize Epic charting system and InterQual criteria
Requirements:
- Active California RN license (pending licenses accepted but must be active by start date)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care case management or discharge planning experience
- Epic charting system experience required
- InterQual experience highly preferred
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers must be screened
- Strong knowledge of admission criteria, care coordination, discharge planning, and medical necessity determination
- Experience with Medicare, MediCal, HMOs, and various insurance programs
- Ability to independently arrange DME, SNF placement, and ambulance transport
- Knowledge of behavioral health resources, homelessness services, advance directives, and protective services processes
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
