Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) located in a healthcare facility in Salem, Virginia. This position involves providing specialized critical care for cardiac and cardiovascular patients in a 12-bed unit. The role requires a skilled health care professional capable of managing complex patient needs within an acute care setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026
- Required Qualifications: No certifications required; candidates with at least 3 years of ICU experience are preferred. Experience in cardiovascular critical care is highly desirable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience; Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the facility.
- Additional Information: The unit supports a team-oriented environment, focusing on patient-centered care with a variety of advanced cardiovascular procedures including postoperative care, Sheath Removal, and bedside tracheostomies. The unit operates under specific dress code policies, including navy blue scrubs, and adheres to established guidelines and policies. Staffing consists of day and night shift professionals, with every other weekend schedule and no on-call responsibilities.
