🚨 Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry RN | Nights | 13-Week Contract
Join a busy 41-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for a diverse patient population in a traveler-friendly facility!
🩺 Specialty: Med-Surg / Telemetry RN
🌙 Shift: Nights | 3x12s (Straight Nights)
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
✅ Active Massachusetts RN License
✅ AHA BLS Certification
✅ Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in one facility
✅ Minimum 2 previous years of travel nursing experience
✅ Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
Required Skills:
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Interpretation of telemetry strips
- Cardiac drip management
- TR Band management
- High-flow oxygen therapy
- Strong Med-Surg and Telemetry skills
Patient Population:
- Cardiac
- Respiratory
- Metabolic
- Psychiatric
- Substance Use Disorder
- Genitourinary (GU)
- Gastrointestinal (GI)
Unit Details:
- 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio:
- Days: 1:4–5
- Nights: 1:5–6
- EMR: EPIC
- Travelers float to appropriate units as needed
