Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialty nurse is sought for a healthcare organization in a day shift setting. The position involves working four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating call schedule, including weekend call rotations. This role supports the organizations focus on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care and patient management.
Job Details
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with call rotation every 4-5th weekend on weekday night. Day shifts staggered start times from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. onwards. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Certified Nursing Experience (CNE) profile and certification, two professional references, CNE skills checklist, and CNE work attestation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Responsible for providing specialized nursing care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including assisting with angiograms, catheterizations, and complex cardiovascular procedures. Adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards is essential. Support may include on-call responsibilities and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
