Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist Location unspecified. This role involves providing professional and clinical care within the cardiac catheterization lab as part of a multidisciplinary team. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses and will support various coronary and vascular cases, including working with equipment such as cath labs, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), Rota, and Penumbra systems.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Iowa state license, 3 years of previous cath lab experience, scrub experience, vasopressors titration experience, experience with coronary and vascular cases, equipment knowledge including Cath Lab, IABP, Rota, Penumbra. Certification required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Must have a drivers license, a recent skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission, license verification, copies of certifications, and a supervisory reference at the time of submission. Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience, at least one travel contract completed.
- Additional Information: The assignment includes on-call duties every other week from Monday 4:00 PM to Tuesday 6:30 AM. The traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 major summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Submission requirements include a work history/resume and the necessary certifications. The role is not an employee of the organization and involves working in trauma centers with varying levels of acuity.
