Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN position is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a fast-paced, interventional cardiology environment, supporting a team of clinicians performing a variety of high-risk structural and high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures. The position requires strong scrubbing skills, particularly with structural cases, and offers a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 9-hour variable days shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a high-risk cardiac setting, associate degree or certification in nursing, strong scrubbing skills with physicians, experience with structural cases such as TAVR, Mitraclips, Watchman, and high-risk PCI's, and Epic charting experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Float: Cath Lab only, float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Start date is 08/24/2026, with a 13-week contract length
- Respond to on-call duties 1-2 nights per week from 5pm-7am and every 4th-5th weekend (Friday 5pm to Monday 7am), with a response time of 30 minutes
- Holiday rotation as needed, including one holiday
- Unit consists of 4-person teams with RN's and technicians, working with 3 interventional cardiologists in a fast-paced environment
- Primary cases include cardiac caths, PCIs with Impella, and structural cases such as TAVR, Mitraclips, and Watchman
