Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) procedures in Thornton, Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess current acute care hospital Cath Lab experience and demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude. This position provides an opportunity to work with new equipment and a highly engaged medical team in a beautiful setting near Colorado's mountains.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shift starting at 6:45 AM and ending at 4:15 PM
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS; minimum of one year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience; scrubbing and monitoring experience; and candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Holding experience and additional procedural skills
- Schedule: Shift Time - Days; Hours - 10 hours per shift; Minimum Hours Per Week - 40 hours
- Unit Information: Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 beds, 9 staff members, and specialized equipment such as GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab EMR (Meditech)
- Typical Procedures Performed: Left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator placements, cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, tilt table tests, and Dobutamine stress tests
- Additional Information: The unit is staffed by a high-functioning, engaged team with experienced physicians. The hospital offers a great organizational culture, located in a scenic area suitable for outdoor recreation such as skiing and mountain activities. On-call requirements include 1-2 shifts per week and approximately every third weekend. Housing within 30 minutes of the facility is required.
