Position Overview:
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Acute Rehabilitation
- Shifts: Day Shift - 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: N/A
Unit Information:
- Bed Capacity: 52 private beds
- Current Census: 35 patients
- Patient Ratios: 1:5
- Equipment: CERNER EHR
- Patient Population: Adults 18+, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, isolation patients, tracheostomy care, and wound care.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting
- Skills: Passion for patient care, strong communication skills, team-oriented attitude
First Day Instructions:
- Scrub Color: Navy blue (or any color for RN’s)
- Time to Report: 7:30 AM
- Contact Person: Ask for Kym upon arrival
- Parking: Free parking available at the back of the facility (DO NOT PARK in UCD lot - costly)
