Operating Room RN
Department Details
The OR has 7 total rooms that are not separated by specialty:
- 4 main operating rooms
- 3 minor rooms
RNs will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of surgical cases, including:
- General surgery
- Robotic surgery with da Vinci
- Orthopedics
- Total joint procedures with Mako
- OB/GYN
- C-sections
- Podiatry
- Urology
- Pain management
- Endoscopy

Experience
- No new graduates
- Minimum 6 months–1 year of RN experience
- Candidates with 6 months of OR experience must be strong clinically
- Previous OR experience preferred
- Open to cross-training candidates from other specialties
- Critical care experience preferred; acute-care experience required
Schedule
- Days: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 4x10-hour shifts
- On-call: 1 day per week
- Post-call day off
- Every 5th weekend
- 5 positions available
Compensation
- 1 year: $39.95/hr
- 10 years: $52.94/hr
- 15+ years: up to $60.00/hr
Differentials:
- Night/Evening: $3.25/hr
- Weekend: 10% of base pay
- BSN: $1.00/hr
- MSN: $2.00/hr
- Driving more than 1 hour: $4.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus:
- 0–10 years experience: $20,000
- 10+ years experience: $30,000
- Lump sum paid at 90 days with a 3-year commitment
Relocation Assistance
- Up to $3,000 for moves of 150–1,000 miles
- Up to $5,000 for moves over 1,000 miles
- Paid at 30 days with a 1-year commitment
Education & Certifications
Education:
- ADN, BSN, or MSN
