Corrections RN needed at a leading acute-care hospital located in Franklin, Wisconsin, with WellPath Corrections. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Corrections setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within the Community Reintegration Center, providing essential care and support to individuals in a correctional environment.
As a Corrections RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and reintegration process for individuals in the corrections system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and policies within the facility.
- Support the rehabilitation process through patient education and advocacy.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Experience in corrections or similar settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
