Local Contract Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $56-62 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

About the unit:

·        Number of Beds - 26

·        Type of equipment – GE Telemetry, Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, Hill-Rom patient beds.

·        EMR - MediTech

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·        2 years recent PCU experience

·        Current BLS & ACLS

·        NIHSS

·        IV infusions of Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Milrinone, Cardazem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Lasix

·        IVP Labetalol and Metoprolol

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·        Experience with MediTech

·        Willing to work extra shifts

·        Pre/Post Cardiac Cath recovery

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         Mid Line or PICC Line
