Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree or Higher
• Experience: 1 year of PCU RN experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting
• Licensure: CO RN License
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• Skill Set:
  • Experience with Solid Organ Transplant
  • Experience with Modalities of Higher Oxygen Delivery/Respiratory Support
  • Knowledge of Chest Tube Management and Care
  • Knowledge of Tracheostemy Management and Care
  • Experience with NG/Dobhoff Placement and Management
  • Experience in Management of DKA Patients Insulin Drips
  • Identifying Decompensating Patients
  • Management of Anti-Arrhythmatic Drips
  • Strong Infection Prevention Knowledge
• Typical Procedures:
  • Wound/Drain Care
  • Frequent Lab Draws from Central Lines
  • Transfusing Blood Products
  • Use of Two Point Soft Physical Restraints
  • Use of NICOM
  • CBI
  • Plasmapheresis
  • Heparin GTTs
  • PCAs
  • Epidurals
  • Cardiac Arrhythmias
  • Reading Tele Strips

- Bachelors Degree preferred - MediTech charting experience preferred - Travel experience preferred
