Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds : 11

·         Type of equipment : POC Lab model, EKG, C1 ventilator, Baxter pumps, glucometer, cardiac monitors

·         Documentation system: Meditech

·         Scheduling requirements:3 - 12 hour shifts per week, 4 - 12 hour weekend shifts per month

·         Floating policy: N/A

·         Patient Experience requirements: 80% or above

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: Manet Recognized facility

Must have: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Advanced skills needed: Nursing staff run labs that are ordered.

Procedures performed on unit:  apply OCL’s, Breathing treatments, conscious sedations

Certifications Required: NRP preferred but not required
