HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a local contract nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• 35 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

About the unit:

·       Type of equipment – Philips and GE (Procedure tables) & GE BT22 (Documentation system)

·       EMR – Meditech Expanse

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·       Proficient in 1 or 2 key roles: Circulate, Scrub, and Monitor (GE MacLab)  

·       Proficiency in all diagnostic procedures

·       Proficiency in all interventional procedures

·       Ability to take STEMI call

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·       Proficient in all 3 key roles: Circulate, scrub, and monitor (GE MacLab)

·       Proficient with LAAO procedures

·       Proficient with Peripheral procedures.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·       Diagnostic Cardiac Caths and PCIs

·       LAAO

·       Diagnostic Peripheral procedures and PTAs

·        Able to work both independently and with team, strong work ethic, willingness to adjust setup and working habits to fit lab and physician needs

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       ACLS & BLS

Floating Area(s):

·       EP lab or Pre/Post based on experience
