**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you an enthusiastic RN ready to make a meaningful impact in an energetic emergency department? - Seize the opportunity to work at a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center! - Embrace a diverse role in our 21-bed Emergency Department featuring: - 12 telemetry beds - 3 behavioral health beds - 5 fast track rooms - Collaborate with a passionate team to serve patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. - Experience an engaging work atmosphere with an emphasis on teamwork and patient care. **Position Details:** - **Role:** RN - Emergency Nursing - **Shift:** 8A – 5P - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend and some holidays - **Call Requirements:** None **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - NIH - De-escalation training (HWC, CPI, or MAB) - PALS **Experience:** - **Years of Experience:** Minimum 2 years in emergency nursing - Strong skills in trauma, resuscitation, IV management, and basic telemetry/EKG are essential. - Preferred experience includes Emergency Medicine and Psych ER. **Patient Care Focus:** - Common diagnoses include: - COPD - DKA - Sepsis - Cardiac Emergencies - Neurological Emergencies - Stroke **Additional Information:** - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 - **Equipment:** State-of-the-art emergency equipment - **EHR System:** Cerner - **Supervisor:** Daniel Register, ED Nurse Manager - **Personality Fit:** A fast-paced multi-tasker who thrives in a dynamic environment. **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Any - **Unacceptable Attire:** No open-toed footwear, no spandex pants, no sweatshirts **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
