**Join Our Dynamic Team as an RN in Behavioral Health!** **Job Description:** - **Position Title:** RN Psych (7A-3:30P) - **Location:** Valley Springs - Holyoke, MA - **Unit:** Forensic Unit Mountain View - **Trauma Level:** Continuing Care Unit - **Schedule:** Full-time, 40 hours per week - **Shift Timing:** 7A-3:30P - **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** None **What You'll Do:** - Provide compassionate care to adults aged 18 and over, addressing mental health challenges in a locked setting. - Join an experienced team dedicated to the lowest restraint rate in Massachusetts. - Utilize your skills to manage patient medications efficiently with the help of Omni Cell. - Collaborate with a full team of rehab staff and psychiatrists to enhance patient programming and care. - Participate in a supportive and dynamic work environment within a state-of-the-art behavioral health unit. **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years working with mental health patients. - **Certifications:** - BLS (AHA) - Handle with Care (HWC - can be completed on-site if needed) - **Personality Traits:** Compassionate, flexible, trauma-informed, and confident. - **Skills:** Ability to engage with a diverse patient population, including those with bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, substance abuse issues, and chronic medical conditions. - **Education:** BSN preferred. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 46 - **Patient Ratio:** 1 nurse for every 9 patients - **Equipment:** POC blood glucose, Vital Signs monitoring - **EHR System:** Cerner **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Blue - **Unacceptable Attire:** Open-toe shoes, provocative or tight clothing **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
